Set #10133: Burlington Northern Santa Fe Locomotive
I received this set for Christmas… but hadn’t had time till today to set down and put it together… I mean, I could have put it together quickly as I’m watching TV, but I really wanted to savor the experience. The set was like a good meal with friends… not to be rushed, but to delight in every flavor, smell, texture. The same with this set — not just to put together a few parts, but to understand the designer’s mind as each section comes together as a whole model.
I’ve been looking forward to building the set since Jake McKee previewed it for the LEGO community back at BrickFest 2004 .
My only complaint, like others, this set contains the new blueish-gray colors — the only negative I can think of.
If you don’t have this set, I urge you to buy one!
